A BIG THANK YOU TO Roleystone Club! 🖤💙💚

We’re incredibly grateful to our friends at Roleystone Country Club for their generous support of RNC this season!

🌟 Providing Player of the Match kids meal vouchers for our 13’s teams throughout the season

💚 A very generous $500 donation to our Reloaded team - who, by the way, have made it all the way through to the GRAND FINAL this weekend!! 🙌🔥

🎧 And most recently, hosting our GO & 13’s Windup, where our players celebrated their season with plenty of presentations, laughs and some seriously fun Silent Disco action! 🪩🎧

💚💙🏆 HERE WE GOOOOO… IT’S GRAND FINAL TIME, ROLEY! 🏆💙💚

This is it. The BIG ONE. 🔥

After an incredible 2 weeks of finals, we have 9 Roley teams across 8 GRAND FINALS taking the court this Saturday! 🙌🏼
And yep… one of those games is ROLEY v ROLEY!

From our first centre passes at 10am right through to 4pm, we want to see those sidelines absolutely FILLED with blue & green! Come down, get around our teams and bring that famous Roley noise! 📣🔥

To every player taking the court - you’ve earned your place here. Back yourselves, back your teammates, play for each other and soak up every second of it. 🫶🏼

And one final reminder for our supporters:

Let the coaches coach.
Let the umpires umpire.
Let the players PLAY.
Trust your TM to be the voice for your team.

NO UMPIRE…. NO GAME! 💚🏐

Amongst all the excitement of teams, players, coaches and finals, we want to take a moment to celebrate another very important part of our netball community - our umpires! 👏🏽

Every week they pull on their uniform, grab a whistle and step out on court so that our girls get to play the game they love. Umpiring takes confidence, courage, concentration and a willingness to keep learning - and we’re incredibly proud of our young umpires who continue to put themselves out there and develop their skills. 🫶🏼

ROUND 2 – PRELIM FINALS! 💙💚🏐

And just like that… these teams are one win away from the GRAND FINAL! 🔥🏆

This weekend we have 8 Roley teams taking the court in their Preliminary Finals, all fighting for their chance to play in the big one!

From our first games at 10:15am right through to 3:30pm, we’d LOVE to see plenty of blue & green around the courts getting behind our teams. 💙💚

To our players - trust each other, play for each other and leave absolutely everything out there. You’ve earned your place in this game, so enjoy the moment and GO FOR IT! 🫶🏼🔥

And to our coaches, TMs, umpires and supporters - finals emotions are HIGH, so our little reminder from last week still stands:

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO OUR ROLEY NETBALL DADS! 💙🖤💚

Netball might be a sport largely filled with girls, female coaches & mums running around making it all happen… but today we want to shine the spotlight on some very important members of our netball family… our Dads 💙

Often our quiet supporters (well… some quieter than others 😆), they’re the ones who might not always be in the middle of everything, but are ALWAYS there when we need them.

The ones who…

🔥 Cook the BBQs
📊 Take the stats
🚗 Official Netball Uber drivers
🎒 Carry the bags, chairs, umbrellas, drink bottles… and everything else
☕ Turn up with coffee in hand, ready for another day at the courts
👏🏽 Cheer from the sidelines
🩹 Help patch up the bumps & bruises
💪🏽 Remind our girls how proud they are, no matter what the scoreboard says
🖤 And give those big, reassuring hugs that somehow only Dads can give.

Whether you’re front and centre every Saturday, quietly helping behind the scenes, or simply your girl’s biggest supporter - thank you for everything you do.

And a very special shout out to our one and only Dad Coach this season - Sid! 🙌🏽 Sid has spent his season coaching our little SET Shooting Stars… giving his time and encouragement to some of our youngest netballers. We’re very lucky to have him! 💫

Happy Father’s Day to all our wonderful Roleystone Netball dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures 🫶🏽

A BIG THANK YOU TO McDONALD’S! 🏐❤️

As our SET & GO season comes to an end, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to McDonald’s for supporting our youngest Roley superstars throughout the 2026 season! 🙌🏽

Each week, our SET & GO teams had a McDonald’s Sports Award to give to a player who deserved a little extra recognition - whether it was for great teamwork, trying something new, showing improvement, being a wonderful teammate or simply giving it their absolute best. 🌟

For our littlest netballers, those little awards are a BIG deal - and we loved seeing how proud they were to receive one! 🥹💚💙

Thank you, McDonald’s, for helping us celebrate our players and making their first years of netball that little bit more special.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support of businesses who give back to junior community sport. 🫶🏽

Of our 18 teams eligible to play finals, an incredible 15 are taking the court in Round 1! 🙌🏽

Here are our fixtures for week 1… We’d LOVE to see our Roley community out in force this weekend - wear your blue & green and get around our teams!

To every player, coach, team manager and umpire heading into finals… enjoy it, back yourselves, play hard and have FUN. We are already incredibly proud of you! 🫶🏽

📣 FINALS SIDELINE REMINDER
Finals bring extra excitement, nerves and emotion - but they do not change the standard of behaviour expected from our supporters.

💙 Cheer FOR our players, never against the opposition
💚 Respect all umpires, officials, coaches and players
💙 No negative comments, questioning calls or inappropriate behaviour from the sidelines
💚 Remember that the players and many of our umpires are children

Let the coaches coach.
Let the umpires umpire.
Let the players play.
Trust your Team Manager to be the voice for your team.

If there are any issues or concerns during the game, please leave these with your Team Manager to raise through the appropriate channels. They’ve got your team covered 💪🏽

What a gorgeous way to wrap up the season with our littlest Roley superstars! 🥹🏐✨

Our Poppets, Rubies & Shooting Stars had the BEST time today celebrating their season - presentations, medals, pizza & plenty of gymnastics fun! 🤸‍♀️🍕🏅

For some of these players, this was their very first season of netball - the beginning of what we hope will be many years of friendships, fun and a love of the game. We are so proud of every single one of them! 💙💚

A special congratulations to our Lynne Blackman Rising Star Award recipients:

Such a wonderful achievement congratulations girls! 🙌🏽

Another congratulations goes to Poppy, Hazel and Gen who received their 3 year playing badges with RNC! 😍

A HUGE thank you to Roleystone Gymnastics Club Inc. for hosting us and giving our players such a fun afternoon, and to our wonderful organising committee & presenters who helped make today happen. There is always so much work behind the scenes and we appreciate you! 🫶🏼

And of course, thank you to all of our coaches, managers, families and supporters for everything you’ve done for our youngest players throughout the season.
