DIVISION 13 MEN’S CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆

Last Saturday (15th Aug), Our men’s team defeated Cottesloe in a very close Grand Final, taking the win by 5 games (56-51) after splitting 3 rubbers apiece & winning 8 sets each. Congratulations on a great season & thank you to everyone who has contributed to the team all season long.

PENNANTS RECAP

All 3 of our pennants teams contesting this season made their grand finals in their respective competitions.

Our Tuesday mixed team played away at Safety Bay, but unfortunately lost despite playing brilliant tennis.

Our Sunday mixed team played away at Hensman Park, unfortunately losing a tough battle.

Our Saturday mens team played the singles rubbers against Cottesloe, with rain forcing the doubles to be postponed. The doubles matches will be held this Saturday at home, with the rubbers level at 2-2. Come down to support & cheer loud!

Players and spectators witnessed an incredible day of tennis! From the first serve to match point. There was plenty of competitive rallies, great sportsmanship, new friendships and lots of smiles on and off the court. A huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered and supported the event—you all helped make this event such a success.

Hi All,

Due to the forecast of inclement weather this weekend, the club championships have been postponed to the tentative dates of 18th and 19th of April.

Updated club championship name lists are now available at the Rockingham Tennis Club, as the new dates may affect members’ availability.

It is currently planned that on Saturday the 18th, doubles will commence at 12:30, with 20-minute timed sessions and a 10-minute changeover. Men’s and ladies’ doubles are expected to commence at approximately 3:00 pm, following the completion of mixed doubles, finishing around 5:20 pm when a BBQ will commence.

Sunday the 19th is planned to see men’s and women’s singles commence at 2:00 pm. At this stage, numbers indicate that men will have two groups, A and B, with the winner of each group playing off in a final. For the women’s doubles, also commencing at 2:00 pm, numbers suggest it will be a straight round robin.

Entries will close on Friday the 10th of April.
