A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am in Churchill Park, Rockingham. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.
parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one. There are now over 2000 events worldwide and more than 440 in Australia with over 600,000 runners in Australia participating every Saturday morning. Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.

A huge congratulations to one of our little speedsters, Harry. Today he competed in Ballarat (Victoria) at the Australian Athletics Cross County Championships.
The conditions weren't great and it was very soggy and muddy but he was happy with how he went. Congratulations Harry we are proud of you...🏆

What a wet & windy morning! 136 legends ran, jogged and walked our course 🏃🏃♂️🏃🏽♂️🏃♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻♂️🚶♀️🚶🐕🐕🦺🌦️
We welcomed 👋 11 Rockingham parkrun first timers, of which 5 were participating in their first-ever parkrun 🥇
In crazy conditions, 2 legends recorded new Personal Bests⏱️🏆👏
Representatives of 12 different clubs took part♣️
