Welcome to the official page of AFLQ Capricornia! The league began in 1972 with local clubs in Allenstown, Depot Hill and Parkhurst.
In 1973 the competition expanded its horizons with clubs playing in Rockhampton and Gladstone, and later Blackwater, Biloela and Yeppoon. At one stage there were eight teams in the competition. The RAFA again changed its name from Rockhampton to Capricornia, then a few years later changed the word Association to League, becoming the Capricornia AFL. Summer Development Camps are back in 2026! 🏉
Join AFL Capricornia Staff and Coaches and Gold Coast Suns Academy Coaches for a chance to further develop your footy journey during the summer offseason.
These Camps provide extensive development and training opportunities for youth players who wish to elevate their game, further their skills or get a taste of AFL football before the 2027 season.
Girls Camp
📆 Friday, November 20 - Sunday, November 22
🕰 Arrive by 4:45pm Friday (5:00pm sharp start), and depart 1:00pm Sunday
📍 Yeppoon PCYC, 170 Matthew Flinders Drive
💰 $250 Registration Fee, covering all camp costs
