The Fitzroy's net-free fishing zone has helped create incredible recreational fishing opportunities, with anglers travelling from across Queensland and beyond for the chance to experience this fishery for themselves.

For Barra Bash, looking after that future matters.

Through catch-and-release competition fishing and a continued focus on sustainability, we're proud to celebrate the Fitzroy while helping protect the fishery that makes this event possible.
