Yesterday was a BIG one for our footy family, with both our Seniors and our 6s, 7s & 8s Gala Day taking over the field! 💪🏼🏉

From the little legends running around with huge smiles. It was a fantastic day full of footy, teamwork, laughs and plenty of action! 🙌🏼
A massive shoutout also goes to our referees! 👏🏼

Days like yesterday aren’t just about the players — they’re a huge opportunity for our young referees to learn, gain confidence, develop their skills and experience different game situations. Every game, every decision and every bit of feedback helps them grow, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort they’re putting in! 💙

That’s what footy is all about — community, development, mateship and having a bloody good time! 🏉❤️

Now that the prelim finals are all done and dusted. Next week brings the grand finals, and another day for some more great footy.

Congratulations to the refs that officiated today, you all did an amazing job and let’s bring on next week.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS HARRY MILLER! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Harry Miller on being selected to attend the Under 13-14 Years State Carnival in Toowoomba! 🏉👏
Today marks day one of the carnival with Harry officiating two middles and doing other supporting roles throughout the day.

Harry, I hope you’ve got your winter woolies packed — Toowoomba might be a little different to Rocky! 🥶😂

What a jam-packed year Harry is having! So far this season he has officiated at:

🏉 Matt Scott Carnival – Longreach
🏉 Open State School Cup – Rockhampton
🏉 State 18 Girls – Gladstone
🏉 Touch Judge – Dolphins Cup
🏉 Under 14 Grand Final
🏉 Touch Judge – Rockhampton Senior Rugby League Finals Series

And now he’s off in Toowoomba for the Under 14 State Carnival!

It’s fantastic to see another one of our young referees taking every opportunity that comes his way and gaining experience at so many different levels.
