Junior Tahlia Peut had never broken par - until today! She joined the group of few women to achieve the feat here during today’s Thursday Club competition. Congratulations also to Mark Lewis, making his 3rd hole-in-on on the tricky 9th!

// COURSE LAYOUT CHANGE //

If you’ve been on the course in the last two weeks, you might’ve noticed that the order of holes has changed to what is known as the ProAm layout. This is a 4 month trial until the end if the year to see how it goes at improving issues such as pace of play.

The course is now played as follows:
- the old back nine is the new front nine
- old hole 6 becomes hole 10, and old hole 1 becomes the 14th

As a golf coach it’s not the easiest job to help a player achieve there goals. Each player is at a different set of levels, swings issues, physical mobility and strength, time availability to practice etc.. catering for these possible outcomes allows us to get as much out of our student in helping them improve.

Today I Received a thank you from coaching competition winner Cameron Wyatt for the work we done. Muchly appreciated Cam as it’s not always an easy job to do!

Cameron Wyatt - Coaching Competition Winner

We had over 200 entries for one player to win 6 weeks of coaching and an 18 hole Competition round being Caddied by myself.

Lessons covered ALL areas of the game

Mental Game
Pre shot Routine
Driver
Irons
Wedges
Pitching/ Chipping
Bunkers
Putting

We created a goal to break 80 on this particular round at the end of August. Which is a very difficult task to achieve but we wanted to make it a challenge!!
Cam had not broken 80 this year so we set out to try and crack it!!

Went so close!!!!

We had a great time out on course and fell 1 shot short of the magic goal…

Thanks Cam for being a great student and look forward to see your golf improving in the future.

Thanks for everyone for getting behind Cam and showing amazing support on his journey.
