Have not posted for a while, so sorry, just been busy! This is what can happen with a bad install, unsafe and unsightly! Replacing with a Kangaroo Jumper installed by the experts was the answer.
The new Jumper picture is at the first inflation and this jumper will gain in height but will still retain its 'Low Level' profile making it safe and with an increased jumping surface capacity. Thanks to Nick Williams our South Australian installer. Great job Nick!

This is what ultimate safety looks like! The Kangaroo Jumper 'No Sand' model. This one is only the forth installed in Australia and the photo's are of the 'almost' completed install. Just some final cleaning and some grassing to be completed. This is installed at the Hillcrest Christian College in Reedy Creek Queensland. Soon, a shade structure will adorn the site making it also comfortable in the Queensland heat! The Boys and Girls at this school are the luckiest!

Kangaroo Jumper vs The Jump Pad
Gary Wakerley
I was offered the Jump Pad for distribution in the USA and Australia years ago and on my own assessment I rejected it on safety grounds. It only took two years after that for them to be banned in some European countries. I won't go into that but here is the problem as I see it. There is no safe landing area so those jumping off land on hard ground and that is a formula for injuries. When it rains water is accumulated with nowhere to go and before use you have to blow it off or mop it up and let it dry before use again, a slippery surface is also a formula for injury.
As another post said the Kangaroo Jumper/Jumping Pillow is simply more fun. In Europe, some teens discovered a certain Jump Pad maneuver that impressed the girls and posted it on Youtube, soon teens were doing it all over the place and the result was horrific injury. It was soon banned. For obvious reasons I will not describe that activity. The Jump Pad is a Jumping Castle without walls, Jumping Castles have walls for a reason!!! Work it out yourself....
Insurance has been a problem in Australia and not just for the Jumpers, you all know that! It is starting to relax and a half reasonable rate can be found if you are pointed in the right direction. The Kangaroo Jumper has never been the subject of an injury liability claim (2500+ installs worldwide) but the insurance companies don't treat it any differently. (Yet!)
There are still many Park Owners who know the facts, if you are in a competitive area and you don't have a jumper you will most certainly lose significant business to those who do have a jumper. Similarly, If you have a Jump Pad and you are competing against a Kangaroo Jumper/Jumping Pillow then you become the loser. If the park up the road is putting in a Jump Pad then get a Kangaroo Jumper you will win the bed nights race hands down.
It is not expected that Park owners are conversant with the finite safety details of Playground equipment and therefore astute decisions are often absent. If you simply want the cheapest then don't call Kangaroo Jumper.
Call now to connect with business.

Another unsafe Jumping Pillow converted to the very safe Kangaroo Jumper - it's what we do!

Kangaroo Jumper/Jumping Pillow Safety - Having just completed another conversion to a Kangaroo Jumper, we found this! A MAJOR SAFETY PROBLEM. The jumper is powered by a Jumping Castle motor/blower as seen in the picture below. Let me explain what this does:
A unit of this type will put around 20psi under the jumper, the correct motor/blower unit will produce around 1.5 psi. Using the incorrect unit negates the primary feature of a jumper in that; the jumping of one does not affect the jumping of another! Instead, it becomes more like a trampoline or a Jumping Castle without walls.
I don't think I have to explain further - This practice is UNSAFE. Contact Kangaroo Jumper if you need a replacement motor/blower unit for your KJ or JP.

This is a brand new install having its very first workout. More work to be done with creating a sand retaining wall and a final clean off. Notice the 'Low-Level' aspect which is unique to the Kangaroo Jumper! Another very safe Kangaroo Jumper for all to enjoy :)

14 years ago (against the wishes of Jumping Pillows Australia) I changed the material and the warranty on the Jumping Pillows being produced in North America. I would eventually go on to change the installation method to ensure a lower profile jumper and then I would go on to depart from Jumping Pillows altogether and launch the ‘Kangaroo Jumper’. This picture below is of one of the first Jumping Pillows with the new material installed in Chili 14 years ago and just two weeks ago it finally gave out.
Had I have kept with the wishes of Jumping Pillows Australia, this client in Chili would have needed two additional replacements in the interim. For Playsafe Products P/L it isn’t now and has never been all about the money. It is about integrity first!
Although I don’t own Kangaroo Jumper USA any longer, I’ll still be proud to see the Kangaroo Jumper logo replace the Jumping Pillow logo on this jumper in Chili.

We at Kangaroo Jumper will announce details of our latest 'product addition' to the Australian market soon. The 'Quick Release' canvas eliminates variances and problems sometimes caused by excavation difficulties, water table, main vein tree root etc. and allows for canvas replacement 'In House' in a matter of a few hours - this means no downtime and no unhappy clients!
The feature is available for both our 'Sand' and 'No Sand' products and is an especially useful option when replacing a Jumping Pillow.
Details coming soon! But we're already quoting this option and should be installing the first one in a few weeks.
