Ringwood Cricket Club For all the players, members and supporters of the RCC. This is the place to be for everything about the Club.

Situated in the Outer Eastern suburbs, Ringwood Cricket Club is a fast growing society that engulfs a whole region of cricket enthusiasts. With four XIs competing the top level of Cricket in Victoria, an ECA 5th XI, two Female XIs as well as Juniors.

Ringwood Cricket Club is seeking a Treasurer to join our committee and help support the Rams across our menโ€™s, womenโ€™s and junior programs.
This is a rewarding volunteer role for someone with experience or training in accounting, finance or business administration. Youโ€™ll help oversee the clubโ€™s finances, manage budgets and reporting, and support the financial strength of our club.
Whatโ€™s involved?
- Maintaining accounts and reconciliations using Xero
- Managing invoices, payments, memberships and sponsorship income
- Preparing budgets and monthly financial reports
- Supporting our annual audit and AGM reporting
Once familiar with Xero, the time commitment is around 3โ€“5 hours per week during the season and 1โ€“2 hours per week in the off-season, with additional time for end-of-year accounts, audit and budget planning.
Youโ€™ll receive a handover and support from current and past committee members, along with the chance to make a valuable contribution to community cricket at Ringwood.

We are incredibly proud to advise that our Treasurer for the past 6 seasons Deb Loughnan has been recently elected as a Director of Cricket Victoria.
This exciting opportunity for Deb means that her role as Treasurer of Ringwood Cricket Club must come to an end. While we are sad to see Deb step down from the committee, we are absolutely thrilled to congratulate her on the new appointment. This is a well-deserved recognition of Debโ€™s leadership, expertise, and passion for the game. Cricket Victoria is incredibly fortunate to have Deb on board to help shape the future of our sport.

Debโ€™s cricketing stats at Ringwood include 143 games, part of the 2017/2018 Premiership team, led as captain of our 2nd X1 team for 4 seasons and is the current leading wicket taker across all of our Womenโ€™s team senior grades.

I want to extend our deepest gratitude for Debโ€™s outstanding service and dedication as our Club Treasurer and player. Her financial stewardship, hard work, and commitment have kept our club in an incredibly strong position, and Debโ€™s impact will be felt here for many seasons to come.

ROUND 1 - CANCELLED :(
Victorian Premier Cricket advises that after feedback was received by Premier Cricket Clubs regarding the state of their grounds after the rainfall over the past 24 hours, the decision has been made to call off all fixtured Men's, Women's & Under 18 Male Matches fixtured for Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October 2026.
Points will be split between all competing teams.
This decision has also been communicated on the Victorian Premier Cricket Social Media platforms.

Ringwood Cricket Club is excited to announce Tom Scriven as the Menโ€™s Programโ€™s overseas player for the 2026/27 season!

Tom is a fast-bowling all-rounder with Leicestershire County Cricket Club, where he plays alongside Ian Holland. A former England Under-19 representative, he has also played almost 50 first-class matches.

Weโ€™re thrilled to have Tom joining the club and canโ€™t wait to welcome him down to Ramland. Bring on the season! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Don Mathieson, a cherished cricketer, coach, mentor, and club legend whose contribution to Victorian cricket spanned generations.

Born on 24 April 1931, Don lived an extraordinary 95 years, leaving an enduring legacy both on and off the cricket field. His cricket journey began with Prahran Cricket Club, where he played 11 seasons of District Cricket. Such was the impact of his service and achievements that the annual fixture between Prahran and Ringwood is contested for a cup that proudly bears his name, ensuring his contribution to the game will never be forgotten.
Don's talent earned him selection for Victoria, representing the state in two First-Class matches during the 1953/54 season.

In the 1962/63 season, Don joined Ringwood Cricket Club as Senior Coach during a pivotal period in the club's history. He arrived as the club was transitioning from the Eastern Suburban Cricket Association (ESCA) and preparing to establish itself within the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA) ranks from the 1966/67 season. Over the next twelve seasons, Don served Ringwood with distinction as both coach and player, appearing in 161 matches and helping shape the culture, standards, and success of the club.

His leadership and vision left Ringwood in a strong and enviable position as the club embarked on its inaugural season in Premier Cricket in 1974/75, a testament to the foundations he helped build.

Don's contribution to Ringwood Cricket Club is recognised through an extraordinary list of honours, including:
Legend Status in the Ringwood Cricket Club Hall of Fame
Selection in the Team of the Century (1901โ€“2000)
1st XI Captain
Seven-time 1st XI Batting Award winner
1st XI Bowling Award winner
Life Member
The Club Champion Award, named in his honour

These accolades tell only part of the story. Don will be remembered not only for his achievements, but also for his commitment to his teammates, the players he mentored, and the generations who benefited from his wisdom, leadership, and passion for cricket.
His name will forever be woven into the fabric of both Prahran and Ringwood Cricket Clubs, and his influence will continue to inspire players long into the future.

On behalf of everyone at Ringwood CC whose lives he touched through cricket and friendship, we extend our deepest condolences to Don's family and loved ones.
Don's legacy is one of dedication, excellence, and service. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever celebrated.

Prior to our recent AGM, Tamara Bourke advised she would be stepping away from the Committee.
Tamara was a key figure in the establishment of our women's program, as our first ever women's cricket operations manager, inaugural first XI captain and until recently, the games record holder.

Off-field Tamara has been on our committee since joining the club in 2011, providing leadership and support to establish one of the strongest women's cricket programs in the State. Over more recent times, she has served as Vice President and has played a key role during our pavilion redevelopment and has always maintained strong ties with council.

We wish to thank Tamara for her contribution to Ringwood Cricket Club over 15 years and hope to see her, Ryan and James at Jubilee Park for seasons to come.
