Burnley Bouldering Wall

The new reset is up! Using the new holds funded by the amazing community at Burnley. We would like to thank everyone who generously donated and helped make this possible. We’ve managed to buy roughly 350 new holds in purple, brown and white, as well as a bunch of bolts and screws. The sight of holds with texture at Burnley is quite unusual.. and we’re still getting used to it.. but don’t worry, no running parkour coordination dynos anytime soon… We’re also still trying to perfect the grade range with the holds and colours we’re working with, which is a work in progress. This set we’ve got 23 traverses from grade 12-31 on wall 1/2 and 27 boulders on wall 3 from V0 - V9. Pretty stacked set to get keen on ! We hope you like it 🤞

The Bad News - after the strong winds the other day it seems the crash pad ended up in the river :(
The Good News - It got caught in the litter trap below Mary Street and we managed to retrieve it (without falling in the river!).
Please leave it hanging up for a day or two to drain and dry out. And then ensure it gets properly closed up again. Thanks!

Reset this weekend, 6-7th of July

Someone better call Bruce Buffer because . . . ITS TIME!!! Walls will be down this weekend for resetting, and should be up and completed by next weekend.

Trans Urban clean up at Mc Conchie Reserve
Please be aware that Transurban will be conducting a clean up of their site under the bridge at Mc Conchie Reserve this Thursday 26 October.
Please avoid attending the area on this day if possible.
