Creek rarely runs through our block but over the years a dead hole has formed at the fence line deep enough to hold water most of the time. Thought I would get the kids out of the house and away from the bloody tv for 5 mins. Didnt think we would actually get anything let alone a decent bu**er like the big one we got.

I mean what a bloody tease. Tree blocking our path on the way to deer camp and a bloody deer just walks on by. At least we know we are headed in the right direction. Always a lot of fun with Berrypickers Anonymous even if I gotta do all the work!

Supposed to be calling deer in, not scaring them away. Not much patience between us when the Berrypickers Anonymous and I get together.

Berrypickers Anonymous pulled this one from the archives….. maybe you should have left it there, lol. 😝 nothing like a little back and forth when the morale is low to keep you on your toes. We both got thick skin but like to test who’s is thicker some times. Wouldn’t have it any other way, now go pick me some berries Frenchy!

Quick update from the field.
Well at least we know deer are here now, after bumping a chocolate fallow buck in an area we were looking to setup for a sit and wait. Nothing else ended up coming through but at least we know we’re on the right path.

2 days after I set this trail camera up overlooking a dam high up in the range a curious young stag comes in for a dip.
