If calories are your budgetā¦
Macros are where you spend the money. šø
š„© Protein = Investments ā Builds muscle, keeps you full, worth every ādollar.ā
š Carbs = Fuel ā Energy for workouts & life.
š§ Fats = Bills ā Your hormones, brain, and body need them to function.
š· Alcohol = Fun money ā Adds no value nutritionally, but can fit the budget.
When you nail your budget distribution, you feel better, look better, and can actually keep it up and stop yo yoing.
Stop demonising carbs.
Stop ignoring protein.
Stop thinking fats make you fat.
Itās just how you spend your daily allowance.
Save this for the next time youāre staring at your plate wondering, āAm I eating right?
Comment šø if this made macros finally click for you.

Imagine if for one whole year, a full 365 days, you showed up.ā
ā
You set aside the millions of excuses you let hold you back in the past and you pushed through for you.ā
ā
Now envision her, become her and watch your world changeš¤ā

How many times have you done this?
Eat something you werenāt meant to eat, so you decided to eat the whole bag, and then the chocolate and then whatever else you had lying around because well you already stuffed up.
šš½āāļø
Iāve done this so many times in the past!
When you learn how your body works and understand food you realise you donāt need to be,
1. Thereās no food your not āmeantā to eat
2. One slip up doesnāt have to result in a full blown out binge session
3. Unless youāre prepping for a show, that one binge really isnāt the end of the world.
So stop feeling s**t about yourself if you do.

So this is Mel, she decided to come see me after having her first baby because she wanted to get back in shape and feel strong for her wedding.
We didnāt go all out with a strict program or anything. She just worked out twice a week, didnāt really keep track of her diet but made an effort to eat well, and stayed active outside of the gym.
And you know what? It worked! She looked amazing, felt amazing, and had some serious strength!

3 months to 10 months post partum.
I did nothing I said I was going to!
I realised pretty quickly the goals I set were not for me at this stage of my life and so I adjusted.
What I did do
ā
Trained twice per week
ā
Hit my protein most days
ā
I was mindful of my snacking habits
ā
weighed myself daily
Thatās all. I didnāt kill myself in the gym, I didnāt count my steps, and I didnāt accurately track my macros. And I did NOT get adequate sleep, thatās an impossible task for a mum.
I picked things I could stick to regardless of what is āoptimumā
Yes, I have a solid foundation, so it was probably easier for me post partum then someone who has never trained.
But if you just do the small things, the things you can do, and do them CONSISTENTLY, you WILL see results.

MOTIVATION
This is the number one reason people THINK others achieve what they havenāt.
It isnāt. I can tell you, there is not one person who is consistently motivated for anything.
What they have is discipline.
They know where they are going, they know what they have to do to get there and they DONāT rely on being motivated to do it.
So thatās what you need. A clear goal, a vision, and then the steps to get there.
Once those are in place youāll see it wonāt matter if your motivated or not.
