What a weekend for the Focus team at QPT Hervey Bay! 💙💛

The weather definitely kept us on our toes all weekend — with wicked winds that gave our famous Redcliffe winds a serious run for their money 🌬️😂, rain delays and, unfortunately, event cancellations.

But despite the crazy conditions, our Focus crew still managed to bring home some fantastic results! 👏🔥

Some great pickleball, plenty of laughs and another weekend of representing Focus Tennis & Pickleball! 💙💛

Unfortunately, Sunday’s session was cancelled due to the rain 🌧️ — but that’s tournament life!

A HUGE shoutout to Tournament Director Dan and the Hervey Bay Pickleball Club for putting on a fantastic tournament and navigating what Mother Nature threw at them all weekend. 👏👏

What a day for Focus Tennis & Pickleball at the MiLP (Minor League Pickleball) tournament at Pickleball Palace! 🏓🔥

We had three Focus players — Mansi, Bernie & Kabir — stepping onto the tournament court for the VERY first time! 🙌 Joined by their fourth player, Steven, the team might not have collected all the wins, but they definitely collected the laughs, encouragement, smiles and memories — and honestly, that’s a win in itself! 💪❤️

🥇 Team Control.Alt.Defeat — featuring a couple of our Focus players — brought home the Gold in DUPR 12 and are now off to Melbourne in September! 🏆✈️

🔥 DUPR 14 Team also had an absolute cracker of a day, including a couple of epic Dreambreakers! Plenty of laughs, smiles, big rallies and some seriously fun pickleball.

But the real highlight of the day? The Focus crew supporting each other. 👏❤️

Whether it was your first tournament, chasing gold or battling it out in a Dreambreaker, the encouragement and camaraderie from our Focus players was next level.

That’s what Focus is all about — playing hard, supporting harder and having a bloody good time along the way! 🏓❤️

Shannon – 🥉 Bronze in 35+ 3.00–3.99 in her first-ever singles tournament! An epic comeback after being 11–8 down in the final! 🔥
Stace – 🥉 Bronze in 19+ 3.49 & Below after some tight round-robin games.

🥇 Ricky & Matty – Gold, 19+ 3.49 & Below

And what a match it was! 😂 Three games, a medical timeout, rain delay and some absolutely brutal wind! 🌧️💨 They kept their cool and brought home the GOLD! 🥇

🔥 Matty, Ricky, Gavin & Brock will be playing gender & mixed doubles throughout the weekend.

Seven players, plenty of matches, and hopefully plenty of wins! 🏆💪
