We’ve got teams locked in from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and New Zealand ready to compete at Redland Rays Baseball Club from 25–28 September.

This is more than just another tournament. It’s an opportunity.

Spring Breakout gives players the chance to play against strong opposition, test themselves in a genuine tournament environment, and get in front of experienced DownUnder Travellers coaches. Players will be evaluated for future opportunities within the program, including potential selection for overseas tours and 2027 opportunities, giving them a chance to take the next step in their baseball journey.

Our coaches are there to watch, evaluate, and give players the chance to earn a spot in the program and put themselves forward for future international tours. This is where it starts.

Players developed better when introduced to U14 National Championships where teams play the best in each State and not just the best Regional team.

There is a BIG difference and the better players learn about top level competition for possibly 6 years playing the best from each State and not maybe 4 years as they do now with just U16 & U18 age groups.

HERE HERE……. somebody at last has spoken about it. Crap like exit velocity and launch angle crap doesn’t make you a good hitter and believe it or not you DO NEED to be able to hit a baseball first and foremost.

Heads up young baseball players. This is important.

🏆 Tournament Baseball – Teams competing across multiple age divisions for the Spring Breakout title.

DownUnder Travellers has once again been selected to represent Australia at one of the world’s premier international baseball tournaments, competing against quality teams from around the globe.

Selected players will experience:

I started out as the very first RDC in QLD back in early 90’s and when I moved away from Brisbane South region in 2007 I was honoured to have my #14 number retired.

The foundations of "Simple Basic Skills" and "Development before winning" still feature in our Regional coaching philosophies.

For all you young players who want to go to college. That’s just the start. If you aspire or dream of playing Pro Ball it gets even harder so GET READY or be prepared to fail. NOTHING is easy in baseball.
