Despite drawing wide and the track improving from a Heavy 8 to a Soft 7, Jason Holder produced an absolute masterclass in the saddle.

He rode Brave Star with complete confidence, settling him perfectly just behind the speed before giving him plenty of room to build through his gears turning for home.

Once he balanced up... it was all over! 💥

Brave Star surged to the front with a powerful finishing burst and then dug deep to hold off the late challengers, showing the toughness and determination that have made him such a favourite with everyone involved. 💪❤️

He is a gelding with genuine ability and plenty of upside, and he shapes as a very nice horse in the making over the next preparation or two as he continues to strengthen and mature.
