They don't always see everything around it.
The coach cleaning mats after everyone leaves.
The late nights answering messages.
The stress of keeping the gym alive.
The injuries from years of holding pads.
The empty bank account while still trying to help students chase dreams.
A lot of coaches sacrifice time with their own families trying to build something meaningful for others.
Not because it makes them rich.
Not because it's easy.
Because somewhere along the line, the gym became bigger than themselves.
Especially in the west, many coaches are not just

They are:
the cleaner,
the mentor,
the businessman,
the pad holder,
the therapist,
the motivator,
and sometimes the only stable role model someone has.
Some fighters never realise how much their coach sacrificed for them until they try to build something themselves one day.
The best coaches rarely ask for credit.
But they deserve respect.

Tonight while up north got to spend it with IMC Tweed Heads Martial Arts family & run 3 classes for them
Once again thank you all for the hospitality & letting me teach your students who are always willing to learn, big thanks to everyone who came & did the classes
