Our Senior Women and Thirds Men sides are GRAND FINALISTS! Congratulations to both teams, who will now enjoy a well earned week off before the Grand Final in a fortnight. Keep an eye out for the fixture - we can't wait to cheer both teams on as they vie for premiership glory!

Elsewhere, our Senior and Under 19 Men's teams enjoyed strong victories in their final match of the home and away season. With the Senior Men finishing as Minor Premiers, and our U19s placing 2nd, both teams will be lining up this coming Saturday for a huge Semi Final to earn their place in the Grand Final.

Unfortunately, despite receiving four points following an opposition forfeit on Saturday, our Reserve Men's side has narrowly missed out on a finals berth. Congratulations to all players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters on what has been a great season.

We've got a huge weekend of footy coming up with our first finals of the year!

On Saturday, head on down to Canterbury to watch our Thirds Men fight it out for a spot in the Grand Final, while our Under 19s and Senior Men look to finish the home and away season strongly at home. Unfortunately, Old Yarra have forfeited the game against our Reserve Men's side - we'll be reliant on other results in the division for a spot in the finals.

Then, on Sunday, put your red and white on and get to Coburg City Oval to cheer on our Senior Women's team as they take on St Kevin's at 11:50! The winner goes on to play in the Grand Final - you won't want to miss it!

Rounding out our trio of milestone players this weekend is Heather McKernan, who will play her 50th senior game!

Heather joined the club in 2025, and has played a vital part in our Senior Women's team's rise to finish at the top of the ladder this year! Heather has also been named amongst our best players four times out of 12 games this season, including last week.

Make sure you get down to support Heather and our Senior Women's team in our first final on Sunday at Coburg City Oval at 11:50am!

PBAFC would like to congratulate Rory Howard on reaching 100 games for our club!

Rory, our current Senior Men's Vice Captain, has made a massive impact at our club since joining as a 17-year-old in 2019 following 124 games for Preston Bullants Junior Football Club. This culminated in a breakout season in 2022, where Rory was awarded the Senior Men's Best & Fairest Award.

Please join us in celebrating Rory's milestone game, which will take place in our Senior Men's final home and away game at Ruthven on Saturday at 2:00pm!

Congratulations to our very own Alicia Keighran who, this Sunday, will play her 50th game for Preston Bullants AFC!

Since joining our club in 2023, Alicia has gone on to become an integral part of our Senior Women's team. Alicia has made a significant contribution to the side this year, being named amongst the best players five times.

Get down this Sunday to support Alicia, and our Senior Women's side, as we play our first final at Coburg City Oval at 11:50am!

Some big wins, unfortunate losses, and nailbiting finishes for the Ants this week! Our Senior Women capped off a great home & away season with an emphatic win to lock in the Minor Premiership, while our Thirds side have officially finished 2nd on the ladder. Our Senior Men's side narrowly got over the line for their 16th win of the season, while our Under 19 and Reserve Men's sides went down.
