The Preston Baseballers are excited to announce that Cameron Beyer has recommitted for the 2026/27 season.

In his first season at the Baseballers, Cameron featured across both the Second and Third XI and quickly became a regular around the club.

A consistent trainer who is always willing to put in the work and improve his game, Cameron's efforts were recognised at the end of the season when he took home the Most Improved Player Award.

A genuine character around the club — and rarely spotted at training without something Carlton on — Cameron has quickly become part of the Baseballers family.

We're looking forward to seeing him continue to develop and take another step forward in 2026/27.

The Preston Baseballers are pleased to announce that Kuldeep Patel has recommitted for the 2026/27 season.

Despite missing 7 games during the regular season, Kuldeep still amassed over 400 runs across the season and earned selection in the Team of the Year.

One of his standout performances came in the final game of the regular season. With the Baseballers in deep trouble at 5/9 chasing 252, Kuldeep produced a brilliant 80, leading a remarkable fightback as the side recovered to 224.

We may have fallen short that day, but the fightback gave the group plenty of belief heading into the finals — against the same opposition we would later defeat to claim the premiership.

We're looking forward to seeing plenty more from Kuldeep in 2026/27.

🔴 RECOMMITTED | HAYDN GILLETT 🔴

We’re excited to confirm that Haydn Gillett has recommitted to Preston Baseballers for the 2026/27 season.

A powerful all-rounder, Haydn had increased exposure to 1st XI cricket last season before finishing the year as a crucial piece of the puzzle in the 2nd XI’s premiership success.

With buckets for hands, Haydn is also an exceptional fielder, and we’re hoping for a season less interrupted by injury as he looks to get closer to reaching his full potential.

There’s plenty to look forward to as Haydn continues his journey with the Baseballers, and we can’t wait to see what he can produce in 2026/27.

The Preston Baseballers are excited to announce that Will Long has recommitted for the 2026/27 season.

Will took another step forward last season, earning his First XI debut before playing an important role at the top of the order for the Second XI.

When the pressure was on come finals time, Will stood up. He top-scored with 30 in the Semi Final before producing a career-best performance in the Preliminary Final, making 77 and taking 4/14 in a brilliant all-round display.

We're looking forward to seeing Will build on that momentum in 2026/27 — and we're sure Will will be bringing his own ball to training once again. 😂

The Preston Baseballers are excited to announce that Chinmay Trivedi has recommitted for the 2026/27 season.

An important part of our Second XI batting line-up, Chinmay produced some match-winning innings last season and also earned the opportunity to feature in five First XI games.

Always willing to contribute wherever needed, he also spent time behind the stumps and produced some brilliant moments in the field, including a number of memorable run outs.

It's hard to believe Chinmay has only been with the Baseballers for two seasons. He's fitted into the club so well it feels like he's been around a lot longer.

After returning to the Baseballers last season, Zac quickly established himself in the First XI, earning his place in the top order with a number of impressive innings throughout the season.
