Port Macquarie Pony Club

It was sunshine and rainbows to start our rally day today but unfortunately the rain just wouldn't stay away. Kudos to our riders for donning their raincoats and braving the weather to do some poles and crossrails, bending, polocrosse practice and flatwork.

Today we welcomed a new member Adrienne and her horse Abbie, and Amalia's new horse Simba. I think all horses and riders were happy to go home to a big feed and some warmth this afternoon.

A huge thanks to Terry Parr who also braved the weather to capture our special moments. They say a picture tells a thousand words and Terry's pictures today certainly showed the changing conditions!

Unfortunately our rally day scheduled for this Sunday 19th July has been cancelled due to weather. Hope you all stay warm and dry.

At our rally day today our riders enjoyed some flatwork instruction and working through some tricky polework exercises, fine tuning their control and correct use of the aids. The weather was beautiful, the horses were relaxed, and everyone had an enjoyable time.

We are aiming to hold a PMPC members rally day on Sunday 14th June. Please note this is a different date than what is listed on our calender due to a clash of events. Please contact us if you have any questions. Fingers crossed the weather is kind to us this time!
