I've been using the topic of building cars, transformations etc a bit recently. But this is one of the questions I'd love to get some opinions on...

BUILT OR BOUGHT?

Would you rather save money and buy something where someone else has already put the hard yards in? Or start from scratch? Do other enthusiasts give the same respect to people who buy an already built car?

For me personally, I don't have the up front cash to go and buy something that's had a heap of money spent on it, even though it would be cheaper in the long run. Most of the cars I've bought over the last few years have cost bu**er all. Over time I have modified them and my vision has come together.
