This week the Green family cleaned up in the seniors with Briley and Brooke taking home the B grade incentives, and Ash taking the A grade one (so we heard the bbq is on them!) Briley played a ripper game at shortstop, taking multiple catches and plays across the diamond. Also working well with the bat! Brooke had the job behind the plate where she worked hard directing her team. She was dangerous with the bat getting on base and bringing runners in. Ash had the role of first base in the A grade and provided a great target and stretch! Her stand out moments were her batting where she hit hard and flat, getting on base multiple times. Its so exciting to see our juniors stepping up into the seniors and holding their own!
In the juniors we had Frankie Woolford hit her first homerun and play a cracker at first base. She has great talk for her team and puts in 100% every single week no matter where she plays! Tessa Woolford is in her first season and has picked the game up really well! She had multiple ground ball hits that allowed her on base, and in the field she picked the balls up cleanly at second base to make the play. Ash Green had the pitching duties and for only her 3rd game in the circle she is doing a fabulous job! She found her groove and allowed some hits that her team fielded smoothly. Ash herself had multiple hit back to her where she made the plays with ease. Once again, hitting well and running bases hard!
