Rockingham City FC is incredibly proud to announce that from the 2027 season, registration fees will be FREE for children who sign up to our Football Futures Inclusion programs.

Our inclusion space continues to grow, giving children with disability the opportunity to enjoy football, make friends and be part of the RCFC family in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Removing registration fees is another step towards making football genuinely accessible to more families across the Rockingham community. We also hope it provides another pathway for children already playing within our club who may benefit from an inclusive football environment tailored to their needs.

A huge thank you to Alcoa Australia and Shape Disability whose sponsorship is helping us make this possible. Their support allows us to remove a financial barrier for families while continuing to grow and strengthen our inclusion program.

We were also delighted to welcome Football Futures Foundation to the club today and share the news with some of our players and families.

The engagement of this group both on the pitch and around the club, including becoming regulars at our Thursday night club dinners, has been fantastic to see. They aren't simply participating in a program; they're part of Rocky.

We can't wait to welcome even more players in 2027.

Both the U18s and Reserves ended the season in style, with the U18s winning 3-1 and the Reserves running out 9-0 winners!

Our Reserves will be officially crowned 2026 State League Division 2 Reserves Champions at 2:45pm, while our First Team head into the final round with the league title still within reach and a promotion play-off berth already secured. There is plenty still to play for!

“This U18 group has grown in every way that matters — as players, teammates and people. Week by week, they’ve learned to trust each other, work for each other and lift each other.

Today’s final game is the product of months of shared effort, standards and belief. We’re incredibly proud of the group and already excited about what we can build next year.

Congratulations to Nathan and the Reserves on their league win — a massive achievement for the club and a great example of what success looks like.

“It’s important to recognise just how far we’ve come as a group and as a club.

We head into the final weekend knowing not everything is in our hands. Our job is simple — focus on what we can control, give everything we have and see where the other results fall. We’ve put ourselves in a position where there’s still plenty to play for right until the end.

That’s a credit to everyone at Rockingham City FC — the committee, volunteers, players, staff and everyone behind the scenes who has helped create the environment we have.

To our supporters, thank you. Your backing home and away has been fantastic and means a lot to the group.

The players deserve enormous credit for their commitment, resilience and belief throughout the season.

We’ve come a long way, but there’s still work to do. This weekend, we’ll give it everything we have and see where it takes us.”

“Winning the league isn’t just about what happens on the pitch. We’ve built a great dressing-room spirit and camaraderie within the group, and seeing the players grow, develop and come together as a team has been the biggest reward.

The league title is the result of a lot of hard work from everyone involved. I’m extremely proud to have coached this group and been part of such a special season at Rockingham City FC.

I’ve told the players that league titles don’t come around often, so they should enjoy this moment, they’ve earned it.

Rockingham City FC haven’t won a Reserves league title since 1993, when Mike Tetlow was coach. In a year when we sadly lost Mike, I feel proud to have achieved what he did all those years ago. Mike was a great guy who always believed in me, and I’ll definitely be raising a glass to him on Saturday.”
