Yesterday was a huge Grand Final day - we had 12 Pistons teams in Grand Finals and were so proud of every one of them, battling through tough games to make it to the final game of the season.
We had winners and runners up, MVP's, Best & Fairest's too....but what we truly had and what truly matters, is our community. We were able to support members of our Pistons family who have had the most difficult of years and the community turned up to show them we care. Sausages, bacon and eggs, baked goods. We were so thankful for all of our volunteers who gave up their time to make it all happen, and a huge thank you to Victor Harbor bakers delight and local Woolworths for supporting the BBQ.
We look forward to celebrating our U12-U16 Juniors tomorrow at the presentation day.
Keep an eye out on facebook and your emails for rego for next season (opening soon!) and team lists for the upcoming Summer season.
(Please note - if you purchased from the bbq with eftpos please note that we used a work eftpos machine (Flagstaff electrical) but all money has been donated to the Krejcir family.)
