Congratulations to the finalists in the Access Training Centre Excellence in Community Service Award, part of the 2025–2026 Rowe Partners Port Augusta Outstanding Business Awards! 🎉

Thank you to every volunteer group that took the time to submit an entry and share the valuable work they do in our community.

Our Awards Extravaganza will be held on Friday 16 October and we look forward to celebrating the success of all our finalists.

2026 CLUB AWARD NOMINATIONS

CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR
The Greg Mathews Memorial Club Person of the Year, sponsored by the WAFC Past Players Club, is awarded annually to a West Augusta Football Club volunteer who has shown commitment and passion towards WAFC and its strategic values, going above and beyond what is required.

Nominations to include: Name, nominated by, list of achievements and reasons for nomination.

SPORTSPERSON OF THE YEAR
The Sportsperson of the Year award can be presented annually to a Club Member or a child of a Member who has achieved excellence in their sporting field or a combination of sports and has shown commitment and passion towards their chosen sport.

Nominations to include: Name, nominated by, list of sporting achievements from October 25 to September 26 and reasons for nomination.

LIFE MEMBER
Do you know someone who is worthy of Life Membership of our club? They may be currently or previously involved in the Club.

Life Membership can be presented to recognise 10 or more years of active and meritorious service to our club. It should be awarded to someone who displays our true values of the club – Respect, Pride, Inclusiveness and Honesty.

Nominations to include: Name, nominated by, list of achievements and reasons for nomination.

The Management Committee will make the final decision on whom, if anyone, will be awarded:
• Club Person of the Year; awarded in conjunction with the Past Players Club
• Life Membership; in accordance with the WAFC Constitution

Game day prep for our Lady Hawks 💟, big thank you to Tina, Sarah, Suzy, Mick, Flexi & Hudson for helping us out this season - it’s been transformative so far!

Also thank you to Mugga, one half of our wonderful coaching duo (the big fella Shannon Page was away with the North Adelaide girls)
