To our dearest boy Elroy,

It’s unbelievable to think that we will never get to cuddle with you on the couch in an ‘Elroy nook’, or hear your excited ‘awrauw’ when we get home ever again. Your love for us and your twin sister Toffee was undeniable.

We’ll miss the little tippy tappys down the hallway and watching your excited trot. We’ll think of you every time we see a paw print in the sand, you loved the beach so much. We’ll think of you every time we go to your favourite oval, you always did love a good ‘splore’. Even the ducks at the wetlands will miss seeing you get excited when you see them (although they were always glad you were on a lead!)

Although we got to spend over 13 and a half years with you, it will never be enough - all dogs should live forever. You didn’t deserve to feel unwell like you did at the end and the decision to let you go peacefully was the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, but we know it was the right one. You are no longer in pain. You are free now.

We’ll continue to look after and spoil your twin shadow Toffee, who is grieving in her own way right now.

We love you Elroy. You were the bestest boy who ever Roy’d. And we’ll think of you every single day for the rest of our lives.

To Elroy, Roy, Roy Boy, Mr Roy, Eroo, Button Eyes, Sir Sits-A-Lot, we love you forever. 💔🐾

MARKET UPDATE
Whilst I won’t be at Bowerbird this year, I’ve brought the goodies to you instead. There’s a 25% off flash sale on my website right now with no code needed. PLUS I’ll be back at Gilles at the Grounds on Saturday 29th AND Sunday 30th November (I might even keep those sale times rolling who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️)

If you’ve been eyeing off cards, doormats, totes or magnets, now’s the moment. I’ve also added a bunch of seconds and samples online for anyone who loves a treasure hunt.

Nutmeg out ✌️

🎨Brushstokes to Keystokes 👩‍💻
I recently had the pleasure of updating website. And while I don’t do a lot of websites, I always love helping local businesses bring their work to life.

His hand-painted signwriting is now easier than ever to explore — check out his portfolio, peek into his workshops, and get in touch straight from the site.

Same incredible craft, just a shiny new online home. Go on, take a wander and see what he can create for your next project — and if your website is ready for a refresh, I might be able to help too!

I don’t post about weddings often (or much at all)… but weddings are actually a massive part of what I do 💌💍

I’m so excited to be part of the Open Day this Sunday! Join us from 11am–3pm for a wander through this breathtaking Adelaide Hills venue and meet some of the best wedding suppliers around (yours truly included 😉).

🎟️ Tickets ($18) include a glass of Golding sparkling wine on arrival plus a delicious selection of roaming canapés during your 2-hour booking slot.

I’ll be showcasing a range of brand new stationery designs, along with a colourful display from Sami & Simon’s gorgeous day earlier this year. PLUS, I’ve got a small number of FREE stationery sample packs — and trust me, it’s the inspo you’ve been looking for 🤍

✨ Father’s Day is sneaking up (less than 2 weeks away!) ✨
Dads deserve better than socks… and we’ve got just the thing. We’ve uncovered a secret stash of our special edition collab card with Nomad Candle Co. (thought they were gone forever), plus plenty of punny picks for the dad with a funny bone.

Pick-up from Plympton Park to guarantee yours in time, or let us pop one in the post.

Don’t leave it to the last minute, Dad’s worth more than a servo card! 💌

Does running late count as cardio? Asking for a friend… who, let’s be honest, is me. 🙋‍♀

Back after selling out last time, this bag’s ready for beach towels, gym shoes, yoga mats or that half-eaten croissant you’re taking ‘to go’ because the sunshine is calling. ☀️ Here’s to warmer days, longer afternoons, and the kind of cardio we actually enjoy.

This one always gets a laugh at markets, usually followed by “Omg, I need to send this to [insert name of faraway legend here].”
Because let’s be honest, missing someone sucks… but humour helps. 😂

For your long-distance bestie, work wife on mat leave, or that mate who moved interstate and took half your heart (and your favourite book) with them.

👋 Oh hey, remember me?

Just popping up from a blur of client projects, retail & wholesale orders, signwriting, laser cutting, doormat painting, and generally trying to do all the things.

Call it a reintroduction, call it proof of life, call it ticking social media off the to-do list, whatever you want to call it, I’m still here, still designing, still running on caffeine and deadlines.

If we haven’t met: Hi, I’m Kirstyn - Designer, painter, paper perfectionist, and your go-to for thoughtful stationery, signage, menus and all the custom touches that make weddings, brands and events shine.

And because I can never have enough on my plate, I also moonlight in HR consulting (my background before diving head-first into small business life), I do a bit of corporate video editing (who’d have thought!), and occasionally even do things for fun (lol, imagine that).

So if you're planning a wedding, launching a biz, running an event, or just enjoy watching someone juggle 364,785 things at once - welcome! I promise to post slightly more often than never. Maybe. We’ll see.

Thanks for sticking around ❤️
