The 2022 Koryu Uchinadi Gasshuku is in Toowoomba this year. At the Toowoomba Koryukan Karate dojo. Hosted by Shihan Peter Weatherspoon.
Dates Friday 18, November to Sunday 20, November.
Address 42 Clifford St, Toowoomba.
Cost $250 or $100 for a day

We will be working on Aragaki Niseishi,
Kihon Waza and Tokumine Bo.

This year the NSW Haru Geiko will be held at the NSW Honbu Dojo at Raymond Terrace. All KU ‘Youth’ (yellow belt and above) and ‘Senior’ students are eligible to attend.

We will be covering many aspects of the KU curriculum including
• Solo & 2 person drills
• Ground fighting
• Kata
• Kobudo (weapons)

Saturday 27th August & Sunday 28th August 2022

Training cost:
Seniors - $40 per day or $80 for the entire weekend
Youths - $30 per day or $50 for the entire weekend

There will be a 1-hour lunch break each day and students will need to provide their own lunch, snacks, and drinks.

We were lucky enough to get a surprise visit from Renshi Danny Spletter tonight. Unfortunately he is headed back to America on Friday.

We had Fred san from Karate Canberra - Cummings Karate Dojo - Matsubayashiryu &... traing under visit us today for some Yamane Ryu training. It was a bit warmer than Fred is used to but we got a lot done.

We have moved!!! We are now at 27 Carwell Avenue, Petrie, Queensland.
After 10 years the old dojo was sold and it will be missed. Hopefully the new dojo will have the same spirit. It is a bit smaller but we will make it work. Thanks to Hanshi McCarthy for the design advice and making it all possible. Thanks to Quinton Quig for the days and days of hard work, without you we would never have got it all together. Thanks to all those who have contributed.
