This Sunday we're hosting finals footy at Matheson Park, and it takes an army of volunteers to make the day a success!

Whether you can spare an hour or stay for a few shifts, every helping hand makes a huge difference. We have a variety of roles available, including:

💚🖤🤍 JUNIOR FINALS WRAP-UP! 🐻🏉

What a weekend for our Bear Cubs! Plenty of smiles, plenty of success, and one shiny new premiership trophy heading back to the Den! 🏆💚

🏆 U14 Div 3 Black absolutely put on a show, defeating Moreton Bay Raiders 52-4 to claim the PREMIERSHIP! What a way to finish an incredible season! 👏🔥

✅ U13 Girls wrapped up their year with a forfeit win in their positional playoff, securing an awesome 3rd place overall finish. A fantastic season from the girls and a result they should be super proud of! 💚

💚 U14 Div 3 Green finished their season strong with a 40-18 win over Aspley Devils in their positional playoff, locking in 7th place overall. Great way to finish the year! 👏

❤️ U15 Girls unfortunately went down to Wynnum Seagulls in their semi-final. Finals footy can be tough, but the girls should hold their heads high after a season filled with hard work, growth and plenty of memorable moments.

A huge congratulations to all our players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families who have supported these teams throughout the season. The future is looking bright at Pine Rivers Bears! 🐻💚🖤🤍

Congratulations to our U14 Black for winning the U14 Division 3 Premiership yesterday!

They defeated Moreton Bay Raiders 52-4!

A big congratulations to the Five-Eighth/Captain, Elias Camenzuli for getting player of the match! What an achievement!

Congratulations to the Coach, John Austen, and all the other staff who helped them get to where they are.

Thank you to the parents and guardians of these superstars for taking the time out of your busy lives to take them to training and games throughout the season as well.

This truly is a team effort, so congratulations to all involved.

What an incredible season for our U8 Green team! 🏆

They’ve gone undefeated all season - an amazing effort from a fantastic bunch of young players! 👏💚

Now, technically, at U8 level we don’t keep scores… 😉
But let’s be honest… we all know that deep down, they know exactly how they’ve gone! 😏

Every game has been full of smiles, teamwork, determination, improvement and plenty of tries (that we definitely weren’t counting 😂).

We're looking for volunteers to assist with:

✅ Field Set Up & Pack Up
✅ Gate Staff
✅ Ground Manager (qualification required)
✅ Duty Officials
✅ Scoreboard Operator (Ground Manager qualification required)
✅ Odd Jobs (emptying bins, checking toilets, general assistance)
✅ Canteen
✅ Bar Staff (RSA required)
✅ Ball Kids (closed-in shoes required)

Volunteers will not be required to pay entry fees, and even just one hour of your time can make a massive difference.

That's a wrap on the regular season for our junior Bears! 💚🖤

Our teams finished the home and away season with some outstanding performances, highlighted by big wins from our U13 Girls, U14 Black and U15 sides, while our U17s held their nerve in a thrilling 28-26 victory over Aspley.

A special congratulations to all players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families who have supported our junior teams throughout the season. The hard work, dedication and Bears spirit shown week in and week out has been incredible to see. 👏

Now the focus shifts to finals footy for those teams still in the hunt! Finals football is where memories are made, and we can't wait to see our Bears give it everything they've got in the weeks ahead. 🔥
