The best shooters aren't built overnight.

They're built one purposeful rep at a time.

Shooting Lab is officially here.

Powered by the Dr. Dish CT+, Shooting Lab gives players the opportunity to get more quality reps, track their progress and train on their own schedule.

This isn't just a shooting machine.

It's a place to build habits.

To stay consistent.

To put purposeful work into your game.

🏀 Jumpstart – From First Dribble to Full Court

Confidence doesn't come from simply playing more games.

It comes from understanding the game.

Jumpstart is designed for young players who are building their basketball foundations—developing ball handling, shooting, footwork, finishing, defence and decision-making in a structured environment that grows with them.

Whether your child is just starting out or ready for the next challenge, our level-based pathway ensures they're always learning at the right pace.

📍 Term 3 enrolments are now open.

Because every great player starts somewhere.

What do you think your team's offense is actually trying to create?

—

A lot of young players know where they're supposed to stand, when they're supposed to cut, and where they're supposed to screen.

But fewer players understand why.

Great offenses aren't just players memorising instructions.

They're players understanding the purpose behind those actions and recognising the opportunities they create.

Because basketball gets a whole lot easier when you stop asking:

"What do I do?"

and start asking:

"What are we trying to create?"

What's something you can do today that you couldn't do a few months ago?

—

Young athletes often get very good at spotting mistakes.

But progress isn't always obvious.

Sometimes it's a better decision.

A skill that feels easier.

A shot you couldn't make before.

Those moments matter.

The players who stay motivated and build lasting confidence are often the ones who learn to recognise progress for themselves, instead of always needing somebody else to tell them they're improving.

What's a skill you struggled with before it finally started to click?

—

One of the biggest misconceptions in sport is that improvement should look like a straight line.

Practice something.

Get better at it.

Simple.

But that's rarely how learning works.

When players try something new, they'll often make more mistakes before they make fewer.

That doesn't always mean something is going wrong.

Sometimes it means learning is happening.

How many turnovers happen because players dribble before they decide?

—

One of the most common things I see in game footage is players catching the ball, taking a dribble, and only then trying to work out what to do next.

The problem is that good opportunities don't wait.

The cutter is open.

The swing pass is there.

Then one unnecessary dribble later... it's gone.

Sometimes the best play is the simplest one.

Catch. See it. Move it.

What do you think creates more turnovers in junior basketball: poor skills or slow decisions?

One thing you'll notice as players get older is that the game starts rewarding quick decisions.

Not rushed decisions.

Quick decisions.

The best players dont always have the best handles or the most athleticism. They often just recognise the play and commit faster

Shoot it

Pass it

Drive it

The game tends to get alot simpler when you stop holding into decisions
