Turning Left along with Midnight Francine will be playing at Perth Folk and Roots Club at the Inglewood Bowling & Sports club on 23rd August 2026 supported by the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 5pm to 8pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley. Turning Left is a blues outfit of established Perth musicians who happen to be left handed. The band features Gordon German on guitar and vocals, (ex Harrison, Company B, Coldfront, Fearless Men With Facial Hair and Woodstock Experience) and Steve Prescott on bass (ex Firebird and also Slim Jim and the Phatts).

Inglewood Bowling & Sports Club is looking for new players to join our friendly little club. Bowls is a relatively relaxing sport that can be played by all ages and abilities. With a good social vibe.
If you are looking for something new to try and have some fun, please visit the club any Saturday afternoon. We have social bowls from 12:30, so come down and join the fun.
