Game Day is upon us!

Join us for Jugger at John Macmillan on Sunday. All gear provided, no experience required. The perfect way to experience Jugger is by… playing Jugger!!! Everyone is welcome. 9am-11am

Hello Perth Juggers! Training this Sunday will start at approximately 10am (Cam has a hockey game that morning) at John Macmillan Park in the usual spot.

In the evening is the AJL AGM starting at 5pm AWST. Help shape the future of our game by participating.

Many thanks to our Perth Jugger community, who braved a beautiful day to come assist with what will become an annual maintenance and making marathon. We repaired and replaced several spars today thanks to crafting supplies and donations of time.

I appreciate you all and I look forward to playing some Jugger next Sunday.

Join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Australian Jugger League. The meeting will take place on Sunday 9 August 2026 at 7pm AEST on Discord.

The AGM is a great opportunity to hear from the AJL and each club as to what's been happening throughout the past year, learn about upcoming tournaments and events, raise any rules topics you want looked at by the Rules Committee, and raise any other issues you want addressed over the coming year. We will also be electing the new Executive Committee.

Positions up for election are:
-President
-Vice President
-Treasurer
-Secretary (volunteer position, must be a QLDer)

If you are a member and would like to nominate yourself or someone else for the position, ensure the nominee is an Ordinary Member and post the nomination in the event on Facebook or on Discord at least 14 days before (nominations must be seconded by another member). You can also nominate during the meeting.

If you are not able to attend the AGM but still wish to have your vote counted, you can give your proxy (with or without instructions on how to vote) to another person. Template forms are available on the AJL Member's Portal in pdf and should be emailed to [email protected] before the meeting.

Bad news, folks, tomorrow's Game Day is canceled. The weather forecast is looking pretty grim and I don't want to see you all shivering like drowned rats. We've made it through the season, despite all the ups and downs, and will now take a break until the first Sunday of August. Big thanks to the players and family supporters, you're the ones who keep Jugger in WA alive. Have a great break, see you next season.
