Next Empower-Her course starts soon.
Six Monday evenings. Small group. Taught by B'Elanna, who trains
every week herself.
Not a workshop — an actual course. Skills built session by session,
so what you learn is still there in six weeks, and six months, and
longer.
If there's a woman in your life who's been meaning to do something
like this — a daughter, a sister, a friend, or yourself — this is
a good one to send her way.
The link has everything she needs to decide.

The first thing they had to learn in lesson one wasn't a technique.
It was how to fall.
Andre noticed it immediately — the initial fear of breakfalls. Not unusual. Most people walking into a dojo for the first time have never deliberately thrown themselves at the floor.
So he broke it down. Showed it at various levels. Each person found their starting point. Then progressed to the next.
By the end of lesson one — that reluctance to fall had gone.
That is what small group instruction makes possible. Andre teaches every session himself. He sees what's happening with each individual responds to their needs — not at the end of class, not when it's become a habit. Right then.
First Principles — lesson two is this Monday. There's still room if you want to join. Message Andre directly and he'll bring you up to speed on what you missed.

Four people walked into the dojo last night and began something.
Andre's words after the session: "Great energy and openness to learning."
First Principles — lesson one done. Three to go.
It's not too late to join. Lesson two is next Monday. If you want to start — message Andre directly this week and he'll bring you up to speed on what you missed.
