100 AFL games. A remarkable milestone.
Sam Hunter will officiate his 100th AFL game tonight when Fremantle take on Geelong at Optus Staidum.
Beginning his umpiring journey with the Swan Districts Umpires Association in 2006, Sam made his AFL debut in Round 7, 2020, officiating the WA derby.
A five-time WAFL Grand Final umpire 2015-2019 and four-time Carter Medallist (Goal Umpire of the year), Samβs dedication and consistency have been evident throughout his career.
Congratulations on 100 AFL games, Sam β an outstanding achievement and one to be incredibly proud of!

Congratulations to Brett Rogers on reaching the outstanding milestone of 250 AFL games.
Starting his umpiring journey with the Swan Districts Junior Umpiring Association in 1998, Brett has enjoyed an exceptional career, earning AFLUA Life Membership in 2018, officiating three consecutive WAFL Grand Finals from 2007β2009 and recieving the Carter Medal (Goal Umpire of The Year) in 2008 & 2009.

Debut For Noah!
Massive Congratulations to Goal Umpire #227 Noah Wilson.
Joining Wafl from Swan Districts in 2024, Noah has impressed, quickly climbing the ranks.
Recently, Noah was selected as the emergency goal umpire for the WAFLW state game.
A well-deserved debut. Congratulations and best of luck.

Congratulations to Hudson Spinks on making his WAFL debut.
Hudson started his umpiring journey with East Fremantle Juniors before joining the WAFL Umpiring Squad in 2024. Since then, he has officiated the 2025 Colts Grand Final and represented WA in both the 2026 AFL National Development Championships β Under 16 Boys and the WAFL v SANFL Womenβs State Match.
A well-deserved milestone. Congratulations Hudson and best of luck for your debut.

Congratulations to Blake Evans, who will officiate his 150th match today in the Fremantle Derby.
Debuting in R15 2016, almost 10 years on Blake will umpire his 150th league game. Blake has built an impressive umpiring career across the WAFL system, including appointments to the 2018 Colts Grand Final, recognition with the 2018 Ross Capes Medal (Pre-Season Field Umpire), and the 2022 Brett Rosebury Medal for Most Improved Field Umpire.
A huge achievement to reach 150 games on one of the biggest stages in WA football.

Cadmon Reaches 50 βοΈβ
Joining the WAFL Umpires Association in 2019 from Swan Districts, Cadmon has steadily progressed through the ranks, earning appointments to both Colts and Reserves Grand Finals. In 2025, he was selected as the emergency Goal Umpire for the WAFL League Grand Final, and more recently served as the emergency Goal Umpire for the WAFL v SANFL State Game.
Congratulations Cadmon. We look forward to seeing what the future holds.
