Working up the broad brush strokes. Next time will be in on the detail fun. Decided if I wear an apron I don’t have to do a whole outfit change when I paint. Seems like a good plan!

Finished him today! Think I’ll paint some friends for him, it was a lot of fun doing this guy.

Had a fantastic day painting this guy and looking forward to when he dries and I can do some more. Met him on our recent travels to Albany when we stopped at Williams. These paintings are going towards my work for an exhibition. Focusing on what we see in our natural world. I have already painted some images of things seen by my mum and aunt in their garden and travels. I’d love to paint more from my friends near and far. Finished punching out this pincushion today. This is a collaborative piece, the plant is growing my mums garden in Hahndorf South Australia and she photographed it and sent it to me ‘to paint it!’ Over here in Perth Western Australia 🥰
