A VERY SPECIAL BASEBALL EXPERIENCE! 🇺🇸

What an incredible way for our Eastern Phantoms to experience a little more of the baseball journey while in the USA!

The boys had the opportunity to head along to a Cleveland Guardians game and meet fellow Australian and MLB star Travis Bazzana — a pretty special moment for a group of young Australian baseballers living out their own baseball dream.

A few photos, a great game and memories that these boys will no doubt carry with them for a very long time. 💙💛

Unfortunately, our Eastern Phantoms Junior League team have been eliminated from the 2026 Junior League World Series, going down to Mexico 5–4 in an incredibly close game.

And what a fight they put up.

After trailing early, the boys battled their way back and took a 4–3 lead in the top of the fifth, only for Mexico to score twice in the bottom half and edge ahead 5–4.

With just one run separating the teams, the Phantoms never stopped fighting until the very last out.

While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, there is so much to be proud of.

They have represented their families, their clubs, Western Australia and their country with pride, determination and heart.

To our players — hold your heads high.

GAME 2 — TIME TO BOUNCE BACK!

Our Eastern Phantoms Junior League team are back on the world stage!

The boys showed plenty of fight in their opening game against Italy, but went down 0–4 to the Europe-Africa Region.

Now, there’s no looking back.

It’s an early one for everyone back home, but we know the Phantoms Nation will be up and cheering!

The Eastern Phantoms fought hard for Australia in the Junior League Baseball World Series, taking on a strong Europe-Africa outfit in Taylor, Michigan.

Although the scoreboard finished 4-0 in the opposition's favour, there was plenty for Aussie fans to be proud of.

Starting pitcher Riley Malcolm was outstanding on the mound, battling through five innings and racking up an impressive ten strikeouts to keep the Phantoms in the contest.

At the plate, Joshua Watts provided a spark with a solid double, while Brody Warner also chipped in with a hit.

Sam Gardiner backed things up nicely in relief.

Every Phantom gave their all in the field and at bat, showing the fighting spirit that Australian teams are known for.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES🔥

After an incredible journey to the USA, our Eastern Phantoms Junior League All-Stars are ready to take the field and represent Australia at the 2026 Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan!

Tomorrow morning, the boys step onto the world stage for their first World Series game, taking on the Europe-Africa Region.

This is what they've worked so hard for. A huge moment for our players, coaches, families and everyone back home who has supported them along the way.
