A night of celebration at the Kalamunda Cricket Club - Echo Newspaper THE Kalamunda Cricket Club (KCC) hosted an event on Monday, August 17 to celebrate its recent awards and community support at Kostera Oval.

We’re thrilled to welcome Tony Booth as our new Senior Head Coach for the 2026/27 season!

Tony brings an impressive coaching resume across SMCA and WASTCA, and is currently at the helm of the Men’s Over 40s State Side. He’s also no stranger to the middle, with 4,000+ runs, multiple centuries and WA representation at national tournaments.

With the playing group’s strong desire for a senior coach, we’re excited to have Boothy join us. With a focus on being a ‘whole club’ coach, structure, fielding and player development, we believe Tony can help guide us to the promised land.

Safe to say, we’ve got the right Booth for the job! Welcome to the hill, Tony!

With recent wet weather, and some cleaning works done to our cricket nets, we will postpone tonight’s pre-season at Kostera until next week.

Enjoy the night off, and we will see you up the hill next week!

Pre‑season launch at Naked Apple Cider was a huge success, and now we roll into indoor training at Sutherlands Park.

All players — new and returning — welcome. See you there!

Earlier this year we were incredibly fortunate to have funding support from the WA Government allowing us to purchase a brand new buggy - helping to improve access and operations at the club.

This important addition will benefit our club - supporting our junior, senior men’s and women’s competitions.
