SUNDAY RESULTS🦘

Our Amateur Premier League lads made the trip up to Wanneroo, with our Reserves walking away with a point from a 1-1 draw, thanks to a goal from Mwamba Philemon.

It wasn't to be our day for the First Team, going down 4-0, with player absences and an extensive injury list testing the squad. Despite the result, there were still positives to take, with several younger players stepping up to the First Team. A special mention to Reserves goalscorer Mwamba Philemon, who came off the bench to make his First Team debut for the club!

In other matches, our Women's team took home all 3 points with a 2-0 win over Aubin Grove United, with Cailey Tower grabbing a brace!

Our Masters also got the job done, walking away with a 1-0 win over Rockingham City, with 'Moose' finding the back of the net for the Roos!

Our Amateur Premier boys are up against Wanneroo City Soccer Club today up at Wanneroo City Soccer Club for our 4th meeting this season. Reserves are set to kick us off at 1pm, followed by the First Team at 3pm.

In other matches, Our Women's team are up against Aubin Grove United FC down at Aubin Grove Reserve for a 1pm kickoff. Our Masters are hosting Rockingham City FC down at Frye Park set for a 1pm kick off.

An 8-goal thriller for our First Team saw us walk away with a 5-3 win over Jaguar FC, with Gerard McGahey scoring a brace. Isaac Koomson, Solomon Finch and Wellington Muvunduke also found themselves on the scoresheet.

Our Reserves shared the points in a 2-2 draw, with Vaughan Audrain scoring both goals.

In other matches, our Women’s team came away with all 3 points in a narrow 1-0 win over Perth Saints FC, with Cailey Tower scoring our goal. Lastly, our Masters team were held to a 1-1 draw, with Stuart Cox scoring our goal.

FINALS BOUND🔥✅

A 2-0 win over Wanneroo City Soccer Club, thanks to a Gerard McGahey brace including a wonder chip from 40+ yards, sees the First Team through to the Amateur Cup final!

Captain Callum Husain had this to say:

“I thought everyone had a great game. The attackers lead a good press all game and ran themselves ragged. The defence did extremely well to lock down a good Wanneroo attack and keep a clean sheet. The midfield battled hard and had some nice link-up play to transition us to attack when in possession. We knew it was gonna be a tough game but everyone really stepped up. It was hard fought and in the end I think the team that worked harder came out on top.”

After a hard-fought battle last time out, we’re ready to leave it all on the pitch once again. The boys have put in the work, the squad is ready, and now it’s time to step up when it matters most.

A frustrating afternoon for our Amateur Premier League boys which saw both teams go down to Kwinana United SC, with Reserves losing 3-0 and First Team going down 2-0.

Our attention moves to tonight in a tough Amateur Cup Semi Final match up against Wanneroo City.

In other matches, our Masters were held at 1-1 against Perth Saints FC at home, whilst our women's team walked away with 3 points with their opponent forfeiting the match.
