Congratulations to our Men’s Senior team on securing the WA Senior Championship Win at the weekend 🟢🟡

A brilliant display of skill and teamwork led the lads to victory! Unfortunately our Ladies were unsuccessful in obtaining the title, but couldn’t be prouder of the bunch of girls wearing the St. Finbarr’s jerseys 💚💛

Comhghairdeas to the Men’s Captain Rob Ó Sé who accepted the cup on behalf of the lads and also on winning Player of the Match and GAAWA’s Player of the Championship 👏

Thanks to everyone who came down and supported, watched online, celebrated and all the support from clubs back in Ireland! We really do have a special club 🔰🔰

Introducing the team that have earned themselves a spot in the Championship Final this weekend. The hardworking and dedication has paid off.

This group have shown exactly that throughout the 2026 season. The effort, consistency and dedication they’ve put in both on and off the pitch has earned them their place in the Championship Final this weekend.
Beyond the football, it’s the character of this group that deserves recognition. The lads have backed each other, pushed each other and continued to represent St. Finbarr’s with pride every step of the way 🫡

A huge thank you also to Ronan Cullen, Peter Sweeney, Colin Briody and Paddy Brady whose time, energy and commitment throughout the season has played a massive part in getting the team to this point. The work behind the scenes is very much appreciated!

The final will take place at 4pm (against Greenwood) on Sat 15th August 2026 in Tom Bateman Sporting Complex. It will be live-streamed, the link will be shared on our story, keep an eye out 📺

Introducing the team that have put in a serious amount of time, effort and dedication this year which has led them to securing a spot in the Championship Final this weekend 💚💛

It’s only fair to acknowledge the respect, the dedication and the workload these amazing bunch of women have given over the past couple of months on and off the pitch! Whether it was supporting each other, supporting the club and just being good people and friends. We really have a special bunch of ladies making up this team 🥰🤩

Managed by Ado and JD, who have given it their all this year in getting the Ladies to the Championship Final! Week in and out, giving up their time and energy to help the ladies succeed in securing a spot in this year’s final! Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed 🟢🟡

We will be having our 2026 Awards Night on 12th September around 7pm. We will be celebrating the 2026 year of St. Finbarr’s GFC and the members that make it a talented and special club.

Live music from the The Broken Pokers, 3 course meal and 5 hour drinks package, it’ll sure to be a brilliant evening 💚💛

What an amazing turn out celebrating 50 years of the club. Great to see past members, lifetime members and people who helped shape St. Finbarr’s to what we know of it today 💚💛

A great evening celebrating the clubs success over the past 50 years, listening to old stories and the way St. Finbarr’s grew to what it is now. We are very lucky to have such dedicated and special people involved in starting, continuing and developing the club.

A brilliant night by all and thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped organise and a massive thank you to all of you who came out to celebrate!!

A very wholesome weekend was put down in Mandurah (🤥)

We can say the people of Mandurah were very sound, great sports and definitely highly entertained! Final counts are still pending for best dressed 🤣

Heads are down now in preparation for our next league game this weekend against Morely in Tom Bateman at 12.30 💚💛 Get down and support this weekend 🤝🤝

Men’s bonding trip 2026 💚💛

Great weekend in Bunbury for our men’s team with over 35 lads heading south 🍺

Always one of the best weekend’s of the year, just before attention turns to the last round of the league this weekend against Morley ⏳

We all at St. Finbarr’s GFC are saddened to hear of the passing of Gabriel Lyons RIP, a previous player and valued member of the club.

Our deepest sympathies to Gabriel’s Family near and far on his passing. A true gentleman and brilliant man, originally from Cavan.
