Your kid doesn’t have to be sporty to belong here.

Term 3 youth training is opening up, and it was never about making athletes.

It’s about a kid who stands a bit taller. Who puts the phone down for an hour. Who finds out their body can do more than they thought.

Who walks in unsure and leaves with a mate and a coach who knows their name.

Strong, confident, and part of something. That’s the whole aim.

Spots for Term 3 are filling. Send us a message and we’ll get you the details.

Most people think they quit gyms because they lost motivation.

They didn’t. They lost attendance.

Motivation dies for everyone. It’s not a character flaw. It’s biology. The people who train for years aren’t more motivated than you. They’ve built a setup where they don’t need to be.

Here’s what that setup looks like at Athlete X.

A locked hour. Same time, same day, booked like a doctor’s appointment. Not “when I can.” When it is.

A coach who knows your week. Whether the kid was up all night. Whether work is brutal.

A program already written when you walk in. One less decision.

A room that notices. When you show. When you don’t. The message on a Wednesday saying “we missed you Monday.”

That’s the setup. That’s what makes attendance possible when motivation isn’t.

One last thing. If you’re going to do this, do it properly. Half in is all the way out. Two sessions a week you actually make beats five you plan and skip.

Pick your hour. Lock it. Show up.

We’ll do the rest.

Athlete X is hosting the one and only Lucas Hardie

Last few spots before this one sells out.

Perth, this is a big one.

Range of Strength travels the world teaching people how to move better, get stronger through their end range, and unlock joints most people forgot they had. If you’ve ever felt tight, stuck, or one bad movement away from a ni**le, this is the workshop that fixes it at the source.

We’re bringing them to Bibra Lake in 2026.

Doors open to anyone who trains. You don’t have to be an AX member. You don’t have to be flexible. You just have to be curious about how much stronger and more mobile you can actually be.

Reply or comment AUS and we’ll send you the details.

From the outside it looks like a workout.

Barbells, sweat, the clock. Fast and loud.

Get closer and it’s something quieter. An hour that belongs to you before the day takes the rest. A room full of people who’d notice if you weren’t there.

The training is real. It was just never the whole reason.

People assume the workout is what keeps someone coming back to a gym.

After ten years of running this place, I can tell you it isn’t.

The workout is the door. The reasons people stay are quieter.

A locked hour they took for themselves. A coach who knows what’s going on in their week. A program already written when they walk in. A room that notices when they don’t show. A café for after.

If your training keeps falling apart, it’s probably not your discipline. It’s probably the setup around the training.

That’s what we built.

Walks in a stranger. A few sessions later, they know names. A few months later, they’re the one welcoming someone newer.

That’s the part we can’t program.

The 6am crew. The Saturday team who go for coffee after. The two dads whose kids now have sleepovers. The marriage that started in the warm-up line.

We built a gym. The members built the rest.

By the time it shows up outside these four walls, we don’t get credit for it. That’s how we know it’s working.

Ask any of them if they’re a gym person. Watch them laugh.

Parents. Shift workers. People who drifted and found their way back. Not one of them planned to end up here.

Now it’s the hour they protect.

You were never too unfit or too far gone to belong here. That was always just a story.

The work you do at 35 shows up at 65.

We don’t bang on about strength training for women because of how you’ll look this summer. We bang on about it because of how you’ll carry your grandkids in twenty years.

Most women grew up thinking fitness meant cardio. Toning. Staying light. Staying lean. Staying small. All good. None of them enough on their own.

Strength training is the missing piece. The one type of training every woman should be doing across her entire life.

Here’s what it does, quietly, while you’re not paying attention…

Builds bone density. Protects your joints. Keeps your metabolism working as you age. Steadies your hormones through perimenopause and beyond. Keeps you independent in your 70s and 80s.

The ability to get off the floor unassisted at 75. To lift your own suitcase at 65. To pick up a grandkid without throwing your back out at 60.

That’s not a vanity goal. That’s a life goal.

Start light. Start scared. Just start.

🧡

Nobody warns you that the goal changes.

For years it was about getting somewhere. A number on the bar. A look in the mirror. A finish line that kept shifting.

Then one day you stop chasing it.

You just want the hour that’s yours before the day takes the rest. A body that holds up for the people who lean on you. A room where you’re not a stranger.

That’s not giving up on yourself. It’s finally knowing what’s worth showing up for.

Most powerhouses are nobody’s idea of one.

They’re someone’s mum. Someone’s wife. Someone’s daughter. The one keeping the whole thing going.

The 10am is where they stop being all that for an hour.

That’s where Gill comes in. 🧡
