Getting reacquainted with the bulldog this week… whilst waiting for the torrential rain to cave the roof in.

Work up a beastly hunger…
2 alternating exercises at a time, with descending reps.
10&10-8&8-6&6… etc.
- yes the sn**ch is single arm and yes it starts with 5 on each side and so on.
Post session: refuel like a demon👹

Firstly, just want to say I’m one of those people who find feet grotesque.
So putting up a post of my feet was met with apprehension … However!
I’ve used toe spreaders periodically over the last year - the squat takes on a whole new feel (for the better).
If you think it’s sounds like BS: give this a go; get down on the ground to do a push up, but before you start, pull all your fingers together so there basically touching at the tips (like a bunch of mangled toes) - now do a few push ups - now open your fingers so there’s some space between them - no do a few more reps - it’s chalk and cheese right?
Imagine how your feet feel after being constantly shoved into pointy shoes (especially the girls, most girls are willing on to pay the price for looking good in a nice set of heels, until a few years down the track, and they realise their feet/ toes resemble the exact shape of the pointy toe compartment.
And it’s not limited to girls, guys have the same issue wearing footy boots for decades multiple times a week.
- I digress, back to the toe spreaders.
Toe spreaders can be of huge benefit to anyone looking to rediscover how our connection to the ground impacts the way the body moves.
If you’re got toes like a dropped bowl of twisties- I strongly recommend training getting some of these to train.
You can grab them from .australia.

The dip has got to be one of my favourite upper body exercises, super versatile in the way you use can it.
Firstly, a great display of flexibility and stability of the shoulder to perform this exercise well.
But it’s a true test of body weight strength, and an exercise people should aspire to perform with precision & confidence.
Build up your endurance or test your strength by adding weight on a belt. So much benefit from this OG of upper body movements.
getting her reps in from her upper body pressing session🤙💪.

Half way through the year and I think I’m still on track. Although I need to add some goals I think to finish off the year.
- Avoid screens were possible
- Follow less social (what a toilet!)

is still one of my favourite bits of home gym pieces, great versatility. I’ve been using them for well over 10 years. So easy to use with any person no matter what their skill or strength level.
And this is probably still my favourite exercises for crushing abs, the TRX knee tuck or jack-knife. showing great control and stability here, awesome effort Mel.🙏

Flexibility training is not limited to just stretching. Keep flexibility a tad more exciting by combining strength movements.
Slight tangent: With the Olympics around the corner, I’m looking forward to seeing the gymnastics competition. The flexible-strength of these athletes is so impressive, true movement mastery.
