What an incredible performance from Jayda Gledhill! 🥋💙💛
Jayda secured the winning match for the Western Australian team in the team event.
Our first two girls performed exceptionally well and fought hard, but both matches ended in draws. That left it all up to Jayda.
With just 5 seconds remaining, Jayda was behind on the scoreboard. Most would have accepted defeat—but not Jayda. She refused to give up, fought with determination, and produced one of the most remarkable comebacks you are ever likely to see.
In over 50 years of involvement in sport karate, I can honestly say this was one of the most amazing comebacks I have witnessed.
Enjoy the video and celebrate an unforgettable display of courage, determination, and the true Yoseikan spirit.
Congratulations, Jayda! We are incredibly proud of you.
