As our athletes prepare to represent Western Australia at the 2026 Karate Australia National Championships in Hobart, Tasmania, everyone at Karate WA would like to wish you the very best.

The countless hours of training, hard work, discipline and commitment have all led to this moment. You have earned the opportunity to wear the black and gold with pride, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you.

Remember that success isn't measured only by medals. It is measured by the courage to step onto the tatami, the respect you show your opponents and officials, the support you give your teammates, and the pride with which you represent Western Australia.

Compete with confidence, trust your preparation, embrace every challenge and enjoy every moment of the experience. Nationals are about creating memories, building lifelong friendships and showcasing the spirit of our WA karate community.

A huge thank you also goes to our coaches, referees, team management, volunteers and families whose support and dedication have helped make this journey possible.
