The Lavalla girls produced an outstanding carnival in Perth all week but were unfortunate to lose a close game to Sacred Heart College, Adelaide.
The girls were brave and continued to compete and despite a number of fightbacks were unable to grab the lead throughout the second half.
Still a mighty effort to get the the Championship Final and something you should all be very proud of.

After numerous fightbacks during the game, the Lavalla girls couldn’t quite attain the lead and eventually succumbed to a 48-56 defeat against Adelaide in the final.

Lavalla fought back after an early second quarter deficit of 12 points, to trail 24-30 at the quarter time against Adelaide.
At quarter time, Lavalla trail by one point against Adelaide, 10-11.

A remarkable group of young men who played their hearts out all week to finish the 2026 Marist Carnival in third place overall.
The boys endured some high's and low's across the week but remain strong to perform well in some very tough encounters.
Be very proud boys ... this was a mighty achievement by you all.

Lavalla boys have prevailed against Adelaide in a gripping final period that saw the margin reduced to five points with just under two minutes to play.
However, the boys held their nerve this time and secured a 53-47 win to finish third overall at the Carnival. A mighty fine effort by the boys.
