Yoga isn’t just about becoming more flexible. 🧘‍♀️

There’s growing research exploring how yoga may support our mental and emotional wellbeing, including perceived stress and anxiety.

And honestly, you don’t always need to leave class feeling completely transformed.

Sometimes it’s simply feeling a little softer.
A little steadier.
A little more connected to yourself. 🤍

The practice gives us space to slow down, breathe, move and notice what’s happening within us.

And maybe that’s part of the magic.

Movement → breath → awareness → regulation. 🌿

Save this as your little reminder that your practice is supporting more than just your physical body.

Motherhood has completely changed the way I see yoga. 🤍

I used to think the practice was about finding stillness, creating space, and learning to stay calm.

Then I became a mum.

And I realised yoga isn’t about staying calm through everything. It’s about learning how to come back to yourself when life feels anything but calm.

Sometimes it’s a full practice on the mat.
Sometimes it’s one deep breath in the middle of chaos.
Sometimes it’s softening instead of fighting.
Sometimes it’s simply beginning again.

Being a yoga teacher doesn’t mean I have motherhood figured out.

It just means I have a practice that keeps reminding me: come back to your breath, come back to your body, come back to yourself.🌿

Motherhood really is its own kind of practice.

Teaching yoga is an act of giving.

You guide.
You observe.
You encourage.
You hold space for every person who walks into your class.

But when the studio is quiet and the mats are rolled away…

Who holds space for you?

Your practice doesn’t end when class does.

It’s in the slow cup of tea.
The walk outside.
The deep breath before driving home.
The few quiet moments where you stop being the teacher and simply become yourself again.

Because caring for yourself isn’t separate from being a great teacher.

It’s part of it.

A well-supported teacher creates a well-supported community. 🤍

Yoga teachers, what’s one ritual that helps you reconnect after teaching?

Because sometimes you don’t need more motivation… you just need to make it feel good. 🤍✨

Put on the outfit. Make the matcha. Roll out your mat. Play the playlist. Take the class.

Romanticising your practice isn’t about making it perfect — it’s about making space for something that feels good to you. 🧘🏼‍♀️🌿

Yoga teacher life? Kinda chic.🤍

Getting to teach something you genuinely believe in, create space for people to slow down, and keep learning along the way… honestly, what’s not to love?

A little less hustle. A little more meaning.

Wellness isn’t just about how your body feels. It’s about caring for your body, mind, and heart—because true balance comes when we make space for all of them. 🌿

Which one are you being called to nurture more right now?

Some days, yoga helps you process.

Other days, it helps you celebrate.

And sometimes, it’s simply the pause your mind and body have been asking for.

You don’t need the perfect mood, the perfect body, or the perfect schedule.

Just show up.

Your mat will meet you exactly where you are. 🤍

Which one are you today?

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s missing that we forget what’s already here.

The ability to move.
A nourishing meal.
A quiet breath.
The people we love.
A body that keeps trying for us, even on the hard days.

Gratitude doesn’t ignore life’s challenges—it helps us notice the gifts that exist alongside them.

Today, pause for a moment and ask yourself:

What a privilege it is to... what?

I’d love to hear your answer in the comments. 🤍

Some friendships are built through years of memories.

Others begin with a simple, *”Want to come to yoga with me?”*

Yoga has a beautiful way of bringing people together—not just through movement, but through shared moments of growth, encouragement, laughter, and presence.

This Friendship Day, we’re celebrating the people who make showing up feel a little easier and every practice a little brighter.

Tag the yoga friend you’re grateful for today. 🤍
