Women in Coaching Month | Co-Coaching Round

As part of Women in Coaching Month, Kingsley JFC is proud to support WA Football’s Co-Coaching Round across Round 11, July 24–26.

This initiative is all about celebrating the incredible women already involved in our game, while also encouraging more women and girls to step into coaching, leadership and support roles.

We would love to see as many women as possible get involved across our teams, with the goal of having at least one woman involved with every Open and Mods team for the round.

Whether you are a mum, parent, guardian, team manager, sports trainer, volunteer, supporter, or a youth/senior player interested in giving coaching a go, this is a fantastic opportunity to step in, learn, support the team and build confidence in a coaching environment.

No experience? No problem. Co-coaching is about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where women can try something new, build skills and be part of the future of footy.

The Kingsley JFC Year 10 Travelling Team will be firing up the BBQ at Bunnings Warehouse Wangara this Saturday 11th July, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Head down, grab a snag, and help support the team as they raise funds for their upcoming trip. Every sausage sold helps, and we’d love to see plenty of the Kingsley community there throughout the day.

🏏 **Early Bird Cricket Registrations Now Open!** 🏏

The Kingsley Woodvale Junior Cricket Club is now taking early bird registrations for the upcoming season, with discounted pricing available until **31 July**.

Registrations are open for **boys and girls from Under 10s through to Under 17s**, so now is a great time to get involved, join a fantastic local club, and be part of the cricket season ahead.

Another special moment for Kingsley Junior Football Club on Friday night, with our Year 9/10F Cats being the very first team to don the brand new Kingsley JFC NAIDOC jumper against Joondalup Kinross Year 9/10F.

It was fantastic to see the jumper proudly represented under lights, celebrating culture, connection, respect and community.

Well done to our players, coaches and families for embracing the occasion and representing the club with pride.

A proud moment for Kingsley Junior Football Club this weekend, with our Year 10 team debuting the brand new Kingsley JFC NAIDOC jumper against the Quinns Year 10 Cyclones.

The jumper is a meaningful celebration of culture, connection, community and respect, and it was fantastic to see our players wear it with pride out on the field.

A special thank you to Ado Lee for performing the Acknowledgement to Country and helping set the tone for such an important occasion.

Well done to our Year 10 players, coaches and families for representing the club so respectfully, and thank you to Quinns for being part of the day.

Congratulations to Emerson, from the Year 9/10 Lions on being named Player of the Week.

Emerson has been one of the team’s most consistent performers this season, leading by example with her work rate, determination and willingness to compete.

In Round 10, she produced her best game of the year, finishing **best on ground** with several outstanding goals and a high-energy, all-round display. Whether winning the ball, using it cleanly or creating opportunities for teammates, Emerson’s impact was felt across the ground.

A thoroughly deserved recognition for a player who continues to grow in confidence and set a fantastic example for the team.
