Perth Thunder ⚡ Clinch 2026 Australian Ice Hockey League Finals place - Conditional on points deductions for the Ice not changing.

As it stands the Thunder are in. The Ice could level on points but the Thunder would win on the first tie-breaker criteria (Points%).

This will be the 9th Finals weekend in a row for Perth and the 10th overall for the Western Australians.

They will be looking to lift their maiden Goodall Cup in Melbourne this year. Is 2026 the year all Perth hockey breaks through, following the Perth Inferno's success earlier in the year?

🥉 BRONZE FOR TANGE! WA defeats QLD 6-1 in the bronze medal game at IHWA Nationals 2026.

Benjamin Shearer and Easton Shearer each finished with 2 goals and multiple points, with Colby Salmon and Dirk Szabo also scoring. Lachlan Scott made 8 saves for the win.
