What a birthday bash hanging out with family and with people who spare their time and energy for me.

Your presence truly is a present 🫶

I’m thankful I could share one of my favourite mutuals at Mt Lawley Urban Art and I hope this mutual is well maintained for years to come 🙏🏻

Calling solo hikers 🗣️

Mapped out the Whistlepipe Gully hike for next week, and I loved spending time with myself, got to do my little foot‑washing ritual. Ready for the next 6ish‑km 🥾🌿

Guess what this wooden pole is for❓😄

Started running in short bursts to build up my lung and heart capacity and this morning’s mix of a stroll and a run felt perfect as I’m getting closer to calling this place my local neighbourhood.

This one‑of‑a‑kind wetland, Mary Carroll Park in Gosnells, has just been named Park of the Year in the Parks and Leisure Australia (WA) Awards 2026.

Mary Carroll was a naturalist, deeply connected to the local environment and its wildlife, and a Gosnells teacher who took her students out into the bushland and wetlands for outdoor learning.

On a clear day like this, the water turns into a perfect mirror, a spectacular sight for bird‑watching lovers (◉_◉)

Special thanks to Friends of Mary Carroll Park! The people who’ve quietly cared for this place for decades. If you’ve ever wandered through the wetlands and wondered what those tiny mushrooms are popping up after the rain join in for their upcoming Fungi ID workshop.

Thankful that my heart feels at ease on this morning walk and run 🙏🏻

During our walk around Herdsman Lake yesterday, we came across this statue and wondered what it was about. Thanks Michelle Haughton for sending me the research! We now know its story.

The AMP Statue, now relocated, is one of those artworks that quietly tells a story about the city’s early identity. When it was first installed in 1915, Perth was growing rapidly, and AMP wanted a symbol of trust and protection — values central to life insurance at the time.

• The standing woman represents the guardian spirit of AMP, watching over the people below.
• The seated family beneath her embodies the idea of security and care — a visual metaphor for financial protection.
• And the Latin motto “Amicus certus in re incerta” (“A certain friend in an uncertain time”) perfectly captures that reassurance.

My hope is that healthy finances, grounded stability, and true abundance flow into our lives and support everything we’re building 🙏🏻
