Before spending millions taking property from compliant owners, politicians must explain:

❓Where will the money come from?
❓What services will miss out?
❓What measurable improvement in public safety will it deliver?

The local political landscape is about to get a major shakeup. With the upcoming Secret Harbour by-election looming, the WA Liberals will soon vote on a contender to contest the seat.

The Baldivis Times has been given rumoured information which indicates that sitting City of Rockingham Councillor Ryan Robertson was the sole candidate to lodge a nomination with the Liberal Party for the Secret Harbour electorate.

What's Ryan's background? 🌊
For residents across the district, Cr Robertson is a highly familiar face. At 35 years old, he is a local family man married with three young children. He currently represents the Rockingham-Safety Bay Ward on council, which covers key suburbs tied directly into the Secret Harbour region.

His background brings a unique mix of service and business to the table. He is a 12-year Royal Australian Navy veteran who served across the surface fleet and submarine force, even earning the title of Submariner of the Year in 2020. Locally, he operates as a small business owner running Apache Media Group, works as a property consultant with Multiply Property Group, and hosts a popular local media initiative, The Ryan Robertson Show podcast.
