There’s something different about walking into the gym on a Sunday. No rush. No excuses. Just you, the weights & getting the work done before the week even starts.
Leg training isn’t just about building bigger quads or glutes. Strong legs help improve everyday movement, support better lifting across the board, and create the foundation for almost every exercise you do.
One of the NEWSET additions to the gym, our belt squat, is another option to add into your session. It allows you to load up your legs while taking pressure off your shoulders and upper back, making it a great variation for many lifters alongside traditional squats.

40+ years in the industry & I’ve collected a few extra jobs along the way. Be sure to “SWIPE” 😂 I’m now a gym owner, therapist, plumber, electrician, DJ, security guard, sports medic & part-time referee all before lunch. 🤣
The truth is, when you’ve been in this industry for decades, you quickly learn that owning a gym is about so much more than weights & treadmills. It’s about our people & our community. Every day brings a new laugh, hurdle & another story to tell (hence why I wrote my book Sweat Equity”)
Thankfully, it’s also brought incredible friendships, an amazing community, & the privilege of watching thousands of people change their lives for the better. That’s the part that keeps me turning up with a smile every single day. I LOVE what I do
