If you’ve been to Ora Alkimos located at 1 Santorini Promenade, you already know it’s not just another gym. We’ve put a lot of work into this place the equipment, the layout, the little details &, most importantly, creating somewhere you actually want to train.

You can walk in, get your session done properly with the right gear, train hard without feeling like everyone’s watching you, and get on with your day. As we grow with you we’ll keep giving back to our community adding more over time.

And honestly, that’s what we wanted when we built it.

When we opened Ora Alkimos on 12th July 2025, there was no big team of contractors doing everything for us. We did it ourselves. Every cut, every measurement, every little job that needed doing was handled by us, the owners. We were on the tools, moving equipment, fixing things, making adjustments & working through anything that came up.

2nd time around, we took you behind the scenes so you could see that opening a gym looks very different when you’re the person actually doing the work. Things that seem like small jobs on paper can take hours, & something as simple as making one cut can mean measuring it three times because getting it wrong means starting again. But that’s what you do you keep getting up!

There were plenty of long days, problem solving and definitely a few moments where we questioned what we’d taken on. But when the doors finally opened on 12 July, we knew exactly how much work had gone into every part of it because we’d done it ourselves. That’s why Ora is personal for us it’s our families livelihood. Months of extreme hard work with no investors, no hand outs just us so we can give back to you!

That’s something we’re genuinely proud of with Ora Alkimos. We didn’t just put our name on the door. We built a lot of it ourselves.
