We had a full house for yesterday's easyAML training session at the AICWA office!

Rachel took us through different scenarios and functionalities of the easyAML platform, including:

• An overview of the platform and its key features
• Helpful hints, tips and customisation options
• A step-by-step walkthrough of the transaction process
• How to create a transaction
• How to unwrap company and trust structures

It was great to see such a strong turnout, with plenty of questions, practical learning and discussion throughout the session, plus some yummy food to keep everyone fuelled along the way!

Member Update: Changes to SMSF Borrowing Rules

From 10 August 2026, changes to limited recourse borrowing arrangements (LRBAs) will affect the types of real property an SMSF can borrow to acquire.

To help members understand what these changes may mean for settlement transactions involving SMSFs, we’ve prepared a concise member update covering the key changes, transitional arrangements and practical considerations for settlement agents.
