Get ready for a fun, inclusive 3km course across the beautiful UWA campus, with bursts of colour and great tunes from a live DJ πΊ
Students wanting to represent UWA can also register as part of Team Maali and compete against other universities in a Western Series Event.
Wear It Purple Day is an annual awareness day that was established in response to bullying and harassment of LGBTQIA+ youth. This year's theme is Colours of Courage.

UWA Sport will be partnering with UWA Guild to hosting the watch party at the UWA Tavern where we will be livestreaming the Men's game.
The first 50 tickets sold, will be given free chips at the watch party! ππ₯€
Expect big plays, bold colours, and an electric atmosphere as the Maali face a tough Adelaide side. Weβre turning the Tav blue, so wear anything blue to the watch party and show up proud, loud, and united.

Four UWA student-athletes made their mark on the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow π
π Iona Anderson, Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting - UWA Business School, claimed three gold medals and a silver in the pool, including individual gold in the 100m backstroke.
π₯ Kurtis Marschall, Bachelor of Science majoring in sport science, exercise and health - UWA School of Human Science, won pole vault gold for a third consecutive Commonwealth Games, clearing a championship record 5.85m.
πββοΈ Rhiannon Clarke, studying a combined Bachelor and Master of Biological Science majoring in wildlife conservation - UWA School of Biological Sciences, won gold in the women's 200m T38 and placed fourth in the 100m T38.
π₯ Keishin Ochi, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) majoring in mechanical engineering - UWA Engineering and STEM, took bronze in the men's 81kg judo.
Congratulations to all four on an outstanding campaign!
